Keeping trimmed nails may also help to avoid self-inflicting scratches.
A good moisturizing cream should be applied to the arms, face, and neck several times a day. The most effective creams will contain aloe, vitamin A, vitamin E, cucumber extract, and natural antioxidants. It's also important to protect the skin from the sun. Using sunblock that is SPF 30 or higher is recommended as well as using protective clothing if working out in the sun for too long.
Besides keeping the skin clean and hydrated, maintaining a healthy diet, drinking plenty of water, and avoiding smoking are crucial to healthy skin.
