Volunteers are the heart of Elder-Aid! You help us address three major needs that senior citizens usually encounter: loneliness, housing, and transportation for medical appointments. We are involved in many projects through out the year where individuals and organizations can select a special project, an on-going project, or a project of their own.
If you're interesting in volunteering, fill out the following forms below:
*Please submit your form via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or drop it off at our office
Transportation: provide transportation to clients by taking them to doctors appointments, dental appointments, or grocery shopping; a vehicle, valid drivers license, and car insurance is required
Phone Buddy: volunteer from home and call one of our clients to provide a sense of companionship
Home Repairs: help us repair minor details in our clients homes, such as broken cabinets and doors, roofs, bathrooms, painting, and wheelchair ramp construction
Yard Work: a clean yard is a happy yard; rake leaves, tend to a garden, clean flower beds, mow, etc.
Home Visits: make a new friend and visit one of our elderly tenants to provide a feeling of companionship
Light Housekeeping: dust, vacuum, clean cabinets, mop, and assist in other household chores that our clients cannot do themselves
Office Work: work with fundraising, marketing, event planning, newsletters, public relations, or human resource tasks
